Let the BPL team help you find the perfect bundle of books for the whole family! Fill out a family version of our Personalized Picks form on the BPL website (link). Let us know your family's interests, ages/reading levels, and how many and what types of materials you'd like. We prepare a bundle of materials for you for pickup through our touchless curbside pickup service.

Book-a-Librarian (BAL) is an opportunity for patrons to make an online hour Zoom appointment to work one-on-one with library staff. These appointments are for questions and information needs that require extra time and attention with a staff member.

We believe library cards are life-changing resources, which is why we hope every student in the Bexley City Schools district is able to have his or her own library card. If your child is without a library card, please email for a special registration form. Once the form has been completed and submitted, we will mail his or her BPL Card directly to you at home.

Using your library card, you can place holds on Bexley Public Library materials by phoning your request to 614-231-2793 or by reserving materials via the BPL Website. You will be notified by email or phone once your materials are ready for pickup and should come the Library parking lot, or ring the bell of the BPL auditorium door, where a BPL staff member will safely deliver materials to you. Curbside service is available Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm.

There are many ways to read a book. We want your children to find the medium that works best for them. We encourage you to teach them how to access e-books and audiobooks via computers, tablets, e-readers, and smartphones for free.
