Join us to learn more about the August 8 special election, where Ohioans will decide on Issue 1. Elizabeth Grieser, from the the League of Women Voters, will explain the Issue and voting law changes.
Join us to learn more about the August 8 special election, where Ohioans will decide on Issue 1, which would raise the threshold for a constitutional amendment to pass from a simple majority, or 50% plus one, to 60%. Elizabeth Grieser, from the League of Women Voters, will provide more clarity about Issue 1, recent changes in Ohio’s voting laws, and answers to your questions.
Elizabeth Grieser has worked in the nonprofit sector since the beginning of her career. She currently serves as the Operations Manager for the League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Columbus, overseeing voter outreach and advocacy programs, along with managing a membership base of 400+ volunteers. Elizabeth also serves on the board of the Worthington Public Libraries. She holds a BA from Washington University in St. Louis and a JD from The Ohio State University.

Bexley Public Library was founded in 1924 and first housed in Bexley High School, now Montrose Elementary School. The present building opened in 1929 and was designed by architects O.C. Miller and R.R. Reeves who drew upon French and Italian architecture from the 17th century for the design.
The library is located at 2411 East Main Street, at the intersection of East Main Street and Cassady Avenue. Parking is available in our parking lot on Euclaire Avenue and in front of the library on Main Street. Main Street is a No Parking Tow Zone from 4:00-6:00 p.m. weekdays.
