In partnership with the Capital Jazz and World Music Festival, members of FIVE PLAY, the sister group of the world-renowned DIVA Jazz Orchestra, will be performing their brand of modern jazz!
Five Play, the sister group of the world-renowned DIVA Jazz Orchestra, was formed in 1999. The quintet is comprised of DIVA's rhythm section and two of its foremost soloists. Five Play is rooted in the jazz tradition and is fueled and inspired by the members’ collective, creative vision to swing through the twenty-first century. The quintet’s repertoire is comprised of innovative arrangements of classic and contemporary standards, as well as original music composed and arranged by band members. The group’s library was conceived to highlight the distinctive styles of each individual and to create a unique, exciting and powerful ensemble sound.
The Capital University Jazz and World Music Festival is a celebration of America’s musical art form. Featuring special guest artist clinics and performances by Capital's student ensembles, culminating in a final evening student performance.

Bexley Public Library was founded in 1924 and first housed in Bexley High School, now Montrose Elementary School. The present building opened in 1929 and was designed by architects O.C. Miller and R.R. Reeves who drew upon French and Italian architecture from the 17th century for the design.
The library is located at 2411 East Main Street, at the intersection of East Main Street and Cassady Avenue. Parking is available in our parking lot on Euclaire Avenue and in front of the library on Main Street. Main Street is a No Parking Tow Zone from 4:00-6:00 p.m. weekdays.
