In 1960, the Ohio State basketball team won the Big Ten and are OSU's only NCAA champion. Hear stories with author Lee Caryer, and OSU players Dick Furry, David Barker, Jerry Lucas, and Gary Gearhart.
In 1960, Ohio State basketball appeared on our television screens for the first time, and the names Taylor, Lucas, Havlicek, Roberts, Siegfried, Nowell and Furry were on everyone’s lips. They won the Big Ten and remain the school’s only NCAA champion. Join us to celebrate that team of 65 years ago, with stories about their victories then and their lives since. Lifelong fans will reminisce and learn, and new fans will be introduced to one of the best teams in NCAA history by Lee Caryer, author of The Golden Age of Ohio State Basketball – 1960-1971.

Bexley Public Library was founded in 1924 and first housed in Bexley High School, now Montrose Elementary School. The present building opened in 1929 and was designed by architects O.C. Miller and R.R. Reeves who drew upon French and Italian architecture from the 17th century for the design.
The library is located at 2411 East Main Street, at the intersection of East Main Street and Cassady Avenue. Parking is available in our parking lot on Euclaire Avenue and in front of the library on Main Street. Main Street is a No Parking Tow Zone from 4:00-6:00 p.m. weekdays.
